Dr. Thomas Fox

- BSc (Hons) in Social Science specialising in Sociology & History (South Bank University, London)
Dr. Fox lectures in undergraduate and postgraduate sociology courses in media and gender, social development, political sociology, contemporary social theory (including identity studies and globalisation), and he has a strong interest in cultural and ethnographic sociology.
His current research interests include material culture, identity change and language among urban youth, youth and media cultures, and issues of political conflict in Africa. He has also extensively researched matters of social mediatization and cultural transformations in the Namibian and southern African contexts.
